Sage is a sacred plant that has been used since ancient times. It’s a purifying “smoke bath” that can be used to cleanse a person, place, object, or space negative energies or influences. When the smoke melts away, it takes the unwanted energy such as lower vibrational energy, negative thoughts with it. How to use:
1. Light your White Sage Smudge Stick
2. Let the stick catch fire, and allow it to burn for about 30 seconds. Then gently blow it out. If needed, you can blow on the embers to keep the smoke going throughout your cleansing process. Catch the ashes in a fireproof dish or container.
3. Wave the smoke around places or objects you wish to cleanse. Say aloud or silently, (Space) “I cleanse this space of any negative energy.” (Crystal) “I cleanse this crystal of any negative energy or previous programming.”
4. Allow the smoke and rich smell of the White Sage to fill the room or surround the crystal. For space/room cleansing, make sure the windows are opened to let the smoke out.
5. When finished, place the White Sage Smudge Stick in a fireproof container and extinguish it by snuffing it out inside the container.
6. Always use caution when working with fire.
